Yıldızlı Inn is a significant historical caravanserai located in the city center of Muş, Türkiye. It was built in 1307 by Miralay Seyfi Bey and is situated on the historic Silk Road route between Erzurum, Muş, and Bitlis. The structure served as an important stop for trade caravans and travelers during its active period. It was constructed on an area of approximately 613 square meters and consists of two floors. The ground floor of the building was constructed using cut stone, emphasizing durability and strength. The upper floor was built using adobe material in accordance with traditional Seljuk architectural practices. This combination of materials reflects both the practical and architectural approaches of the period. The inn originally contained a total of 52 rooms and shops across both floors, highlighting its role as a major commercial hub. Throughout history, Yıldızlı Inn functioned as a key social and economic center where merchants traded goods and travelers found accommodation and rest. Its strategic location along the Silk Road made it an important meeting point for different cultures and trading communities. In 1916, during the Russian occupation, the structure was heavily damaged and remained in ruins for many years. Between 2015 and 2019, it underwent extensive restoration work, during which efforts were made to preserve its original architectural character. Today, Yıldızlı Inn has been restored and repurposed as a restaurant. Visitors can experience its historical atmosphere while also observing its cultural heritage. It remains one of the important historical landmarks of Muş, attracting both tourists and history enthusiasts.
